Intimate Proposal at the Shangri-La Shard
For Robert’s proposal, we were able to organise a Corner View Suite so that they had a 180° view of London’s stunning skyline! Our Proposal Planners got to work once the couple had left the room to go for dinner. They transformed the room into a beautiful, romantic Winter Wonderland with a pathway of fairy lights, candles and rose petals. The décor also included photos of the couple, fresh flowers and personal love notes!
As you can imagine, Rachel was incredibly surprised when she entered their room! Surrounded by all their memories and the stunning view of London outside, Rob asked her to marry him and how could she say no! They celebrated with champagne overlooking the Thames and continued their special evening with drinks at the GONG bar.
However, the proposal wasn’t over yet as Robert had decided to let Rachel choose her engagement ring! The next day, the couple made their way to the bespoke jewellers: Raphael London. We had organised an appointment for them to select the perfect ring. This is becoming increasingly common and ensures that the bride-to-be receives a ring that she wants to wear! It also creates another element to the proposal that a couple can share together.
