The One Romance Team pulled off another incredibly romantic proposal at the luxurious Shangri-La Hotel at the Shard in London for Jeff and Su. The couple were in London on holiday and Jeff got in touch with us to make this trip even more memorable!
Whilst the couple were out having dinner, our team were put into action. They transformed the couple’s hotel room into a trip down memory lane with photos of the couple throughout their relationship and unique love notes that Jeff had written! He allowed us to share a few with you…

When I am with you, there’s no place I’d rather be
You have no idea the amount of happiness you have brought me.
The bedroom was also decorated with ‘love’ balloons, rose petals and glass baubles with roses inside. As if this proposal wasn’t romantic enough, we also organised a violinist and guitarist to play their favourite song as they entered the room and throughout the proposal!
We can’t imagine what Jeff must’ve been feeling as he approached the door but from the looks on their faces, we think our team did an amazing job! Jeff couldn’t stop smiling and Su was completely amazed and surprised!
The musicians were playing John Legend’s ‘All of Me’ whilst Jeff led Su down the candlelit rose-petal path. Su was completely overcome and Jeff sang the chorus into her ear whilst they slow-danced. He then got down on one knee and proposed and was met with a resounding yes as well as happy tears and smiles!
The newly engaged couple celebrated the start of their new lives together with champagne whilst overlooking London’s skyline from the 40th floor of the Shard. Fortunately, there was a videographer to film the whole proposal from start to finish and you can watch this moving proposal here (5)!
