Celebrating 2024

It is a time to look back over the year, reflect and celebrate, with that in mind I wanted to share some of our special and beautiful moments with you.

This year has seen me split my time between working in the UK and supporting my amazing husband in LA. Due to his work commitments he had to move to LA, I have been commuting and thanks to my fantastic team in the UK, Jo, Clare, Fairy and Erwin and the continued support of my photographic teams, Paul, Tom, Lina, Gemma, Gary and Zibi, it has been the most amazing year for me personally and for the continued success of The One Romance.

We actually started the New Year 2024 with one of the most beautiful proposals at Fitzrovia Chapel for Avery and Nate, Avery thinking they were having a family Christmas shoot prior to New Year’s Eve celebration at The Ritz arrived at the chapel to be serenaded by Stella, our violinist, for a beautiful New Year’s Eve proposal – so romantic and glamorous. 

Winter to Spring
During the colder and wetter months we find ourselves bringing the outdoors in at the Sky Garden, hotel bedroom decorations and at home celebrations, Valentines Day celebration of Love on the Thames Limo along with a couple of beautiful proposals on the River with the your own private London views and at Pennyhill Park in their beautiful gazebo and grounds not forgetting our favourite London venue Fitzrovia Chapel and a stunning proposal in Prague.

Spring to Summer
As the spring starts to arrive we are focused on proposals with views at the Shangri-La Shard, Chevel Three Quays and the Gherkin. We had the wedding of Colin and Johnny in the Penthouse suite at the Cheval and we launched our Prix Fixe range along with our partnership with Weddisimo.

Summer to Autumn
As the warmer and longer days of the summer are with us we find ourselves outside with our beautiful picnic and floral set-ups for Anniversaries, Birthdays and Proposal celebrations. Outdoor proposals with personalised songs, backdrops of Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, St. Pancras’s famous staircase and not forgetting our rooftop proposals with Tower Bridge.

Stunning proposals in Dubrovnik and outside of London at Cliveden, Pennyhill Park and St. Michael;s Manor.

We are so lucky to be the only approved supplier for proposals at Fitzrovia Chapel with many lovely and bespoke proposals in this totally unique and beautiful venue.

New collaborations with Horizon 22 and Six Park Place, two venues we are so proud to be part of as their recommended suppliers.

Autumn to Winter
Our new partnership with Fanhams Hall hotel finds us having a Japanese themed proposal in their stunning grounds followed by a Halloween themed afternoon tea. We are back at Downhall for a surprise proposal and for another VIP client and a birthday firework display.

We had some lovely Dining in the Sky and Champagne in the Sky proposals and celebrations at the Shangri-La Shard along with our speciality of hotel room decorations. The most beautiful candlelit cinema proposal at the Asylum. Candles are the theme for our rooftop proposal for a client in his penthouse suite on Embankment. 

I found myself being interviewed by the Times for another lovely article and took myself out of my comfort zone to be on a podcast and YouTube. All went very well until the very end, but we did laugh and had lots of fun. 

Festive Season
December is and has always been our busiest month for proposals. It is a time that we reflect on what we have, who is important to us and who we truly hold dear to our hearts. It is also a time when many people choose to travel to London and wish to make everlasting memories.

We have had many photoshoot proposals with stunning London backdrops, Albert Bridge being one of our favourites and so romantic. Christmas themed hotel and at home room decorations, private chefs at the Cheval, afternoon tea proposal at Fanhams Hall and for the final week of December we find ourselves at The Rosewood hotel, The Shangri-La, Fitzrovia chapel and one of our favourite luxuries, a proposal on the Thames Limo.

I can’t wait to see what 2025 holds for us, we have some exciting events to share in January and more bespoke proposals with ever-expanding new venues. Now we are actually taking a week off to enjoy our loved ones and tell them just how much we love and appreciate them.
