Did I mention I love my job?!
Every day I have to pinch myself that I have been lucky enough to be in the ‘Proposal business’ for a whole decade. It’s a role where I’m entrusted with crafting once-in-a-lifetime moments and weaving them into everlasting memories.
Each client holds a special place in my heart, and the time we spend together creating their dream proposal, is nothing short of magical.
About six months ago, Andrea reached out to me with a vision: he wanted his January trip to London to be an unforgettable experience, complete with a heartwarming proposal to his sweetheart, accompanied by the melodic tunes of the incredible Lilybud @lilybudlondon. The setting had to be nothing short of perfection – a London park.
Despite Andrea’s limited English and my own meagre Italian, we embarked on a journey of planning, aided by the trusty Google Translate. Together, we pieced together the ideal plan for his proposal.
Last weekend, the stars aligned, and the weather cleared just in time for Andrea and his sweetheart to embark on a romantic walk in the park. Stepping into the pump house in the Italian Gardens, they were greeted by a surprise that left Chiara utterly astounded – a serenade with a special song and a beautifully curated proposal space. Her incredulous words, “You did this for me?” echoed as Andrea dropped to one knee to pose that all-important question.
In a magical moment, their family and friends burst in, having travelled all the way from Naples to share in the celebration of their everlasting bond.
Everyone was in tears, tears of joy, and we can’t wait to join them all again for their wedding in Naples next September.
Witnessing this extraordinary love story unfold is a constant reminder of why I absolutely adore my job!
