Surprise London Eye Proposal

At The One Romance, we understand that every couple is different and therefore, every proposal that The One Romance organises is personal and unique to you! Marcus asked us to create a Winter Wonderland in one of the London Eye pods and being The London Eye’s Official Proposal Planners we were excited to take on the challenge!

As one rotation of The London Eye takes half an hour, our Proposal Planners have only 7 minutes to transform the pod whilst the couple are blindfolded! Thankfully, with our expertise and professionalism, we accomplish it every time!

Marcus and Kathy boarded their private VIP London Eye pod with our secret Proposal Planners but only Marcus knew what was going to happen next. Once the doors had shut, Kathy was approached and told she had a special London Eye ticket and had won a special surprise!

The couple were asked to put on blindfolds and our Team got to work! In only 7 minutes they managed to decorate the pod with fairy lights, framed photos of the couple and a ‘Will You Marry Me?’ banner! At the same time, two musicians began to perform Auburn’s ‘Perfect Two’.

Marcus was then allowed to take off his blindfold in secret as he prepared for his life-changing moment! He had prepared a presentation with love quotes and pictures of the two of them that he gave to Kathy when she was finally allowed to see what her surprise was! At the end of the presentation, the singers began to sing Jason Derulo’s ‘Marry Me’ and Marcus went down on one knee and proposed; right at the top of The London Eye!
