When Kenny contacted us about his marriage proposal in London we knew we had to make it extra special. Afterall, he was flying his girlfriend Sharon all the way over from Korea to ask her for her hand in marriage!
Kenny’s one concern was that by having his marriage proposal in London, Sharon would miss out on having her family be a part of it. However we quickly put his worries to rest. We suggested having life sized cardboard cut-outs of Sharon’s family which we would position throughout the proposal so that she could feel as if her family were there with her.
After speaking with her sisters, they also sent through some letters especially for Sharon on her special day, which she could read before Kenny got down on one knee.
On the day of the proposal (which thankfully was a beautiful sunny day for a marriage proposal in London!) Kenny headed to Kensington Gardens with Sharon. After stopping for ‘high tea’ at the famous ‘Orangey Restaurant’ Kenny suggested going for a walk through Kensington Palace gardens
As they walked through the park, Sharon spotted a very special surprise! We had printed out a huge cardboard cut-outs of one of her sisters!
Attached to the cardboard cut-out was a ‘handbag’ which contained a very special note inside.
Sharon was overwhelmed when she saw the note – she is incredibly close to her sisters so the fact they were able to be involved in the proposal (even though they were miles away in another country) was hugely important to Kenny.
Kenny and Sharon then walked though (what we like to call) “The Tunnel of love” towards her next surprise. This is when Sharon spotted ANOTHER cardboard cut-out. This time it was of her other sister!
Attached to this cut-out was another note for Sharon! And this note was particularly special…..
Suddenly a singer appeared and started singer the couple’s favourite song.
Kenny got down on one knee and asked Sharon to be his wife! We LOVE her reaction!!
