Welcome to our very first blog on the Twelve Most Romantic Flowers! We are really looking forward to sharing our favourite flowers every month with you. Hopefully, it will inspire you to treat your other half to a beautiful bouquet or just a single stem to remind them how much you mean to them. We promise you it’ll make their day.
To start us off, we chose a flower commonly known as ‘Love in the Mist’, what a perfect flower to start our blog series! Nigella are a soft, mystical flower that look gorgeous as part of a bouquet yet are very striking on their own. They are commonly found in blue known as ‘Miss Jekyll’ but are also popular in the ‘Persian Jewels’: white, pink or light purple.
With various prominent elements to the flower and its unique ‘mist’ from the foliage, the nigella is a beautiful, eye-catching choice.
Did you know…?
Nigella is also sometimes known as the ‘Devil in the Bush’ but no one really knows why! If you do, let us know via our Facebook, Instagram and Twitter! We would love to hear from you.
All the thanks in the world to the fabulous Paul Furness for his suggestions. If you love flowers, or enjoyed this post – make sure to check him out! He creates stunning bouquets perfect for every occasion!
