The One Romance Team had a wonderful start to 2018 as we had the privilege of hosting a proposal at a stunning hidden gem in London: Fitzrovia Chapel! Wesley had seen our previous proposal at the chapel via our Facebook page and thought it would be a perfect place for him to propose!
He had some of his own individual ideas for the proposal that he wanted incorporated into the occasion and with our expertise and insider knowledge, our Proposal Planners were able to put it all together so that it worked out perfectly! As always, we discuss with the client exactly what they want and include them in every aspect so that they can be stress-free, knowing that on the day, it will be exactly how they imagined!
On the evening of the proposal, Wesley, Cheryl, her brother and sister-in-law came across the little hidden entrance leading to one of London’s best kept secrets and little did Cheryl know her life was about to change forever!
As they entered the chapel, the group heard music playing and our Proposal Planner, Amanda, was there to meet them. As they turned the corner and had full view of the chapel, it dawned on Cheryl that something very special was about to happen..!
The violinist and singer were performing Cheryl’s favourite songs as they walked down the aisle lit by candles and fairy lights. At the end, the couple found a selection of their photos from their travels around the world, a bouquet of 50 Long steamed red roses and a photobook that Wesley had made for her.
As she read through the book, Wesley got ready for the performance of his life by picking up a guitar and serenaded her with a love song! He had learnt to play the guitar especially for this night and it was such a beautiful way to make this moment intimate and unique just for the two of them.
The time had finally arrived for Wesley to ask Cheryl to marry him and of course, she said yes!
The couple and their friends celebrated with champagne and more of their favourite songs and photos.
As there had been a photographer and videographer present throughout the entire proposal, they will have the memories forever, especially as the moment always seems to go so quickly!
The group were then whisked away in a luxurious car to Clos Maggiore for a wonderful dinner and to continue the celebrations into the night!
