Valentine’s Marriage Proposal at The Shard
Harry got in touch with us months ago as he knew he wanted to propose to his best friend Demi-Leigh on the most romantic day of the year ! This gave us lots of time to think of a unique proposal idea just for the two of them and make sure that it included absolutely everything Harry wanted!
Harry and Demi-Leigh checked in to the Shangri-La at The Shard on Valentine’s Day and went for a romantic dinner at Hutong at sunset followed by drinks at Aqua Bar overlooking London’s twinkling lights.
As the couple return to their suite, a Valentine’s Day surprise was waiting for Demi-Leigh! The whole room had been transformed with balloons candles and fairy lights!
A pathway of rose petals lead her to 5 sets of balloons with presents attached underneath them.
Each one contained a gift of one of her favourite things; chocolate, a picture of her family, a bottle of Moscato, pink roses and a keyring representing her love for teaching.
At the end of the pathway there was a large box with a love note asking ‘I have given you your favourite things so please will you give me my favourite thing?’. As she opened it a balloon (8) flew out with the words ‘Will You Marry Me?’ written on it. Harry got down on one knee and proposed! Her face says it all..!
Of course, she said YES! Congratulations to Harry and Demi-Leigh!
The newly-engaged couple continued the celebrations at the GONG bar in the Shard.
