Some of you know me very well, others might not have met me yet!
Wedding Mayhem – About Amanda Brown!
I had the privilege of being asked to go on Wedding Mayhem with Sharon and Lauren. Now, that is actually my worst nightmare. I do not want to be filmed or photographed; I have always been the other side of the camera. I don’t wear make-up, have no idea how to do my hair, only ever wear the same clothes and have been known to swear!! Why oh why would they want me and why would I say “Yes please – I can’t wait!!”.
You might have already seen the episode, or you might decide to watch it after you have read this blog but my goodness what fun I had and what mayhem I caused!!
Sharon and Lauren are amazing people, kind, generous, funny and experts in their field. Sharon made me feel very comfortable and didn’t ask me too many difficult questions.
We chatted away about this and that, mainly about Romantic events and what I do, honestly I could have stayed all day. We had balloons, champagne and cake. We were celebrating their 1st year of Wedding Mayhem or 52nd shows.
It was the cake that caused the most trouble, well actually it was my matches. I s’pose after 25 years in the creative industry I might have learnt that matches make fire and fire is not good. I know working with babies, children and animals is always a little tricky why have I not learnt that working with matches is also a no-no?
Well, you will be pleased to know I have learnt my lesson, no more matches for me, no burnt fingers or carpets. I now have an electric, rechargeable candle lighter as a gift from the ladies and it has been put to very good use ever since.
Thank you ladies for having me, I love your podcast, I love your channel and most importantly I love you both for being so entertaining while also helping the industry and clients with all your knowledge and expertise.
